Today we went out for breakfast, and then we went for a drive. It has been a full day, but it was lovely.

Clareville Bakery for breakfast with Lucy, though having a pastry is not that filling.

Lucy hated the pass though, and I was feeling very nauseas sitting in the back of the car with her. We finally arrived in Carterton, and the bakery is just outside the town. After an excellent breakfast, we drove a circular loop and had lunch in Whanganui at an amazing Mexican restaurant. Whanganui seems to have some amazing restaurants, and the atmosphere is incredible! The history of the town must be very interesting. Though I have yet to explore more of the town.

After lunch we made our slowly home to Wellington. Our daughter was exhausted and just wanted to go home.

We arrived home around 5:30 pm, so it was early dinner and bed.
